Drive-By Truckers bassist Shonna Tucker has left the band, but David Barbe (the director of the University of Georgia Music Business Certificate Program) will fill in on bass with the Truckers while the band looks for a permanent replacement. Barbe has produced DBT’s last seven albums.
“Her charm and spark will be irreplaceable and her part in our last decade of this band’s history is indisputable,” DBT co-founder Patterson Hood said online. “We will share in our fans missing of her.”
